Well, here it is! The final Terminal Hipster strip for 2009. Not that there have been very many strips over the course of this year, mind you, but I can promise this is it until next year.

I made a few changes to the art this time around, and I’ve got a few things in mind I want to do differently from here on out. Picky readers will notice that I’ve rounded off all of the character’s ears, and Jason and Chester have eyebrows now. I don’t know why those two were my only characters who didn’t have eyebrows, but I figured it was time to take care of that issue.

I’ve got the next several strips planned out in script form… now it’s just a matter of finding time to draw them. And scan them. And colour them. And post them. I’ve got a few ideas kicking around for what I want to do with this site in 2010. Updates will continue on a “when I have time” schedule, but there are a few things I want to change right away in the new year.

Okay, so… looks like this is the first time I’ve posted a new comic in several months. I sort of put Terminal Hipster on an unannounced/unofficial/unplanned hiatus over the summer to work on another as-yet-unnamed project, which I’ll have a more info on soon.

The art for this was done back in April(!) but has been sitting in my sketchbook unscanned/coloured since then. Finally got off my ass, and… well, here it is. I hope it wasn’t too disappointing.

In other news, tonsilitis sucks. That is all.

Yeah, this is pretty immature and kinda poorly drawn… but then again, so am I. Anyway, it started out as a quick and sloppy phone sketch but I figured I’d clean it up a bit anyway. Hopefully worth a chuckle at least.

There’ll be a proper TH strip early on next week. In the meantime, let’s be friends on LiveJournal… does anyone other than me still use LJ?

Happy New Year! Boy, do I suck or what? I had some pretty major writer/artist block over the holidays and its been a bitch to break back out of that. On top of that, I’ve been working like a dog between my two “real” jobs and I let comics slide for a bit. Sorry, kids. I’m going to take a day or two to script out the next bunch of strips, then hopefully finding the time to draw them up won’t be the chore it has been lately.

So, there’s no really planned update sechedule around here for the forseeable future. I’ll post new comics at random now and then, but I think I’ve proven I can’t keep to anything like a proper schedule for now. The best way to know when there’s a new comic on the site going to be either adding Terminal Hipster to your RSS, or join the Terminal Hipster fan page on Facebook for notifications when a new comic is up.
