Gang, meet Dez’s roommate, Keira! This strip took a little longer to draw, in part because I had no idea what Keira was going to look like when I started working on it. I’m pretty happy with the way she turned out, though, and I’ve got some pretty big long-term plans for the girl. I also spent the long weekend dog-sitting a three month old puppy. I thought I’d have plenty of time to get some drawing done while I was watching him… no such luck!
Hey, have you joined the Terminal Hipster fan page on Facebook yet? You should! Shannon Wheeler joined up this week, which blew my mind out the far side of my head… that guy’s been one of my all-time favorite alternative comic artists for years, so I can’t begin to tell you how stoked I was to see him on there.
In other news, I guest hosted a radio show on CJSW 90.9FM last night. For those of you who are into that sort of thing, here’s what I played.
